Vision Statement
To be an increasingly, welcoming, inclusive and nurturing Christian community of faith that provides a spiritual home for all ages and actively promotes social justice.
Walk with Friends in God’s paradise:
Hendrie Valley, Monday, evening of May 27:
An easy walk to enjoy this beautiful nature and bird sanctuary in the Grindstone Creek Valley, featuring the RBG’s signature boardwalk, river mouth marsh complex, forested slopes and towering trees, valley flowers, many birds (especially chickadees), chipmunks and turtles.
Mount Nemo, evening of June 10:
An easy walk on top of Burlington’s iconic Mount Nemo, one of the best cliff ecosystems of the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve - and one of the gems of the GTA Greenbelt. You will see ferns blanketing limestone boulders among old forest alive with birds and you will have a spectacular view from an interpretive lookout.
